The Catalonia Wine Guide, which had the 2014 edition, has recognized the the DO Montsant wineries for their quality and typicality of their varieties.

Proensa Guide 2014 is now available, the twelfth edition of the best Spanish wines signed by the journalist Andrés Proensa.
Last year, after ten years, the author changed the judgment for the wine selection so as to include only wines at or above 90 points.

Last week , the winery had two very special visits, a Press trip and a Fam trip or tour operators travel.

The Peñín Guide, the reference Spanish wines Guide, awarded one more year, high scores to wines from DO Montsant. In that 2014 edition, the guide begins its analysis of Montsant noting that "today is this appellation of origin the one which is undergoing the most qualitative improvement in Catalonia".

Capçanes took part last 10^th October at the NEW WINES FROM SPAIN Fair in the BØRSEN Exhibition Hall, Copenhagen Old Stock. This was one of the activities under the General Plan 2013 for Denmark Wines organized by ICEX.
 

"The Montsant arrives in Brazil. Denomination created in 2001 with wines a little less dense than the Priorat ones. They can be drunk  with less saved time, using Grenache grape vines with some Carignan and an advantage, clearly lower prices.

Peraj Ha'abib from Celler de Capçanes is one of the largest kosher wines produced in Spain with discreet aromas, friendly and elegant on the palate, with fine tannins and well balanced. Worked very well. Good wine."

"Pais de vins" select this September, on the Garnacha's day, the best 100% Grenache wines from Catalonia, among them our "La flor del flor de Primavera" 2011 kosher.
