Jürgen Wagner, winemaker, sales director and export manager in the Cooperative of Capçanes, a village with 400 inhabitants in the region of Priorat that in the mid 90's looked for the independence by selling bulk wine and grapes, has been invited to the auditorium of Vilafranca in the last session of the conference called Desenvolupa't, organized by the Centre Agora of the City of Vilafranca, which took place last Tuesday 15^th January.

Cabrida 2010 was awarded with the Silver Medal in the Grenaches du Monde competition celebrated last Thursday 24^th January in Perpignan.

Last tuesday 15th January, about twenty Sommeliers and chefs from recognized and exclusive restaurants and hotels of Monaco visited Celler de Capçanes, where they made the tour so as to see the installations and finished with a tasting session of all our products.

This was one of the activities in the "Priorat Wine Tour"  organized by Vinos Ibéricos & Luxibérica interprise.

This year the Guide Proensa comes with some changes, the pages have been reserved for wines with 90 points or more. Among them, Cabrida '09 and  Mas Tortó'09 from Celler de Capçanes have received excellent ratings, 97 and 93 points respectively.

The Spanish Wine Guide ABC includes three wines from Celler de Capçanes in the 2013th edition. Both have been awarded with 93 and 92 points  by Juan Fernandez-Cuesta, the wine critic.

12/12/12 The perfect day for performing an esoteric wine tasting by Mr. Kovar. Czech origin, editor and  graduated in law, Mr. Kovar discovered his powers some years ago. Since then, he is a healer caring people by energizing water that makes the patient drink later.

In this case, Mr. Kovar traveled from Germany, where he lives, to Priorat so as to take part  in energized wine tasting in collaboration with Celler Capçanes.

The Federation of Jewish Communities of Spain (FCJE) and Ortodox Union (OU) signed an agreement for the certification of kosher products in Spanish companies.

"The book brings a selection of 100 Spanish wines whose prices  does not exceed 10 €. Each file includes the description of the wine, tasting notes understandable, the ideal time to taste them, similar wines, notes about the winery and wine tourism suggestions. "
