Please the Palate: Talking About Terroir with Capçanes

This month Allison Levine on his blog "Please the Palate" writes about the influence of terroirs on the grape and recommends the collection of La Nit de la Garnatxes del Celler de Capçanes.
"There are general descriptors that say that sandy soils produce highly aromatic wines with low tannins and clay soils produce muscular wines with high extract. And there are examples of wines from around the world that demonstrate the influence on wines from sandy, volcanic, clay, limestone, slate and other soils.

Come with us on the 17th of February and Teresa (our field engineer) will teach you.
Afterwards we will have a light breakfast in the vinyards and we will also visit the celler where we will discover the secrets of the Kosher wine.

Peraj Ha’abib at the Betevé television!

Thanks to this video from the Betevé Television,  we can share with you the best moments celebrated during the 20th anniversary of Peraj Ha'abib!
The 20 year vertical tasting was held at the most ancient house in Barcelona,belonged to one of the most important rabbis of the city in the 13th century.
Peraj Ha'abib has been recognized as one of the best kosher wines in the world and was the first kosher wine that was made in Spain after the Jewish expulsion in the 15th century.
