Medium ruby bright color. Very expressive aromas of raspberry marmalade and a floral fragrance tagging along. The palate is delicate, showing great finesse. Very well defined with redcurrant fruit and a vibrant raspberry note, a floral and fresh undertone. Soft elegant tannins, oak being integrated into the wine for a round and delicate mouthfeel. Lingering. A pure and elegant expression of Red Grenache.

• Cabrida 2022: 92 points. “A varietal Garnatxa, Cabrida is sourced from 100-year-old vines in Montsant. This garnet wine presents an herbal bouquet along with violet and white pepper aromas. Dry and taut on the palate, the faintly reactive tannins and pungent mouthfeel create a compact structure with a slightly untamed expression. This should settle down with more time in the bottle, as I tasted it only weeks after bottling”.

One of the best wines in the region. I hope it will get better with age but see no need not to drink this now”.
